The Central Statistics Agency (BPS) of West Seram Regency has an important role in providing accurate and reliable statistical data and information. One of the activities carried out was holding a Data Discussion Meeting to compile the publication "West Seram Regency in Figures 2025". This activity involved all related Regional Apparatus Organizations (OPD) within West Seram Regency and took place in the BPS meeting room of West Seram Regency-Piru, February 18, 2025.
The data discussion meeting in compiling the publication "West Seram Regency in Figures 2025" is a strategic step in improving the quality of statistical data in West Seram Regency. By involving all related OPDs, it is hoped that the resulting publication can be a useful reference for planning and decision-making at the regional level. This activity also reflects the commitment of BPS West Seram Regency in providing accurate and relevant data to support regional development.
From the results of the discussion, there were several important points agreed upon by the participants of this meeting. First, the need for uniform data collection standards between OPDs to ensure data consistency and accuracy. Second, the importance of utilizing information technology in collecting and presenting statistical data. Third, participants agreed to carry out more intensive coordination in data collection so that there is no overlapping information.
Through good cooperation between OPDs, it is hoped that the publications that will be produced can provide a clear picture of the social, economic, and demographic conditions in West Seram Regency, as well as become a useful source of information for the community and other stakeholders.
